I'm off to my son's wedding up in VT--I am so excited!
One black cloud, however… My DS31 lives with my son and his wife-to-be , and he sleeps late because he works in a restaurant at night. My DS35 and DDIL were out at work, and while DS31 was in bed sleeping (kind of in a twilight state), someone walked into their house and stole all of their computers and iPads!!!! My son is a musician and had all of the songs he's written over the past 5 years on it. Wedding stuff was on DDIL's computer. DS35 had JUST gotten an iPad two months ago. I am heartsick for them.
We're just happy that the person walking through the house (who actually went upstairs and cased the empty bedroom, but never opened my DS's bedroom door, where he was sleeping, left without violence.
Scary stuff. I'm glad the entire family on both sides will be there to make them feel better.
Otherwise, should be a grand weekend!
