Tradd, here's something to look at while you are laid up. DH and I took our weekly "field trip" (where we visit a place we've not been) and while out looking at the Frank Lloyd Wright house here in our metro area, we stumbled on this new Orthodox church, just completed:

It is so obviously slavic in design, it stood out. It was a great surprise and I felt that we got 2 for the price of 1 in our self guided architecture tour that day.
There is an old, Victorian onion-top domed church a few blocks from me that I believe is still a functioning Orthodox church, but I'm not sure. And then, even closer, is an Serb Orthodox church that has fabulous dinners. But that building has no onion dome.
I really like the onion domes!
