I'm back here again after being away yet again, but there is a difference this time. This time I am no longer single which still amazes me to no end. I've got it legal on paper and a ring on my finger and wow! As much as I complain, this one thing is just very very very cool. Very cool. And we had good luck too with the living arrangements - I am moving into SO's apartment and the space in the house I co-own with my cousin we are renting out to an Austrian student at ASU that my family in Austria knows and trusts. So I'm hoping that works out smoothly. Other than that, lots of banquets coming up, selling books online (I did start that business btw) and now I have lots of work secret shopping Medicare presentations until December 7th - there literally is as much work as I want to take on at the moment and for once it's a wonderful feeling. Aw, that's such a sweet post! Happy newlyweddedness!! (Yes, I made up a word.) It reminds me of a time when I was newly married and I wrote to tell someone that we were "happily married," and DH saw it and said, "tell them we're 'ecstatically married!'" Congratulations and best wishes to the ecstatically married couple!!

Hey, everyone, just wanted so say THanks!!! for the kind words and good wishes. I guess I am living proof that change is possible - 30 years ago in 1985 I would never have believed in my wildest dreams that I would be married to a kind and decent man AND have the marriage recognized by the state and the federal government as legal and valid. No, I would not have ever believed that! So here is some hope and change for you - I don't know that Obama can take much if any credit for it but beyond catchy political slogans - here is some genuine hope and change in the real world for you.
