I spent the last hour cleaning out my social media- 3 areas are Pinterest, FB and YOUTUBE

1. Pinterest- I just deleted my account. Yep, I know what I like and I don't need to live up to some unrealistic expectation or make myself feel bad. I did keep my favorite pics in a folder on my computer. I allowed myself 50.
2. YOUTUBE- I allowed myself my TOP 5 favorites. I had over 40 subscriptions. The requirements are how do they videos fit into my life. There were some great people and stories I enjoyed reading but in reality, I do not relate to them.
3. FB- The big one- I deleted everyone but about 20 true blue friends and family. SUCH PEACE!!! I have actually been weaning myself off FB for a few months now and it's been great. I also unsubscribed from so many "likes", again, if it fit into my life, then it stayed. Also, anyone who I don't really "know" is gone, except for 1 person who I have built a friendship with over the past few years.

So much peace I am experiencing!!!

I could not believe how good it felt to unfollow one big group on Facebook. Too much drama and too much irritation.

I just started using Pinterest, now that I'm retired. It is perfect for saving images of floral arrangements to act as inspiration.

i've never had more than 8 FB friends total anyway, I think FB is stupid and overly complicated. I can't figure out how to send a photo to my brother, only my brother, for instance. I can't figure out why/how old posts seem to be regurgitated by, seemingly, the FB software.

Now I have to have a FB account because that's how our dog rescue group communicates, but the rest of it is largely useless. There is one " entrepreneur" in the "expert industry" who I hate-follow. That whole wealth-attraction- think-and-grow-rich industry is freakishly fascinating to me.
