So something is going okay in my brain and I actually have had an urge to write fiction after a long time. The issue is that I am faced with an overwhelming urge to smoke. Like crawling out of my skin urge. I have the option of shifting back to a lot more meditation, cut back on some media inputs (I love the show Castle and I am encouraged to write again), etc. or writing and giving in to an occasional writing related smoke, or see if there is any other way. I did visit a friend the other night to hang out and she smokes on her porch now and then, so I had my first one in years and didn't feel sick or anything.

It is also relevant that I am on my lowest functional dosage of medication, my DR and I agree I could probably do okay without meds over time. So I emailed him about the smoking urge. There is likely a connected relationship between brain chemistry and all of this.

I'll bet you would feel sick if you smoked very strong ones.

just saying as an ex smoker who bums cigs from my friends about 5 times a year.and the feeling sick thing doesn't stop me from doing it.:D

it is freaking weird, agreed, how that urge just sneaks up on you from no where. Those ex smokers who say the smell of smoke makes them sick are creatures I don't understand since I LIKE the smell of it! And I wish that we could buy singles in the U.S. I've heard that at certain ghetto food stores one can, in fact, buy singles illegally.
