After slogging and working my butt off all of 2015 - I will make my final credit card payment on January 31, 2016. I had two cards totaling about $10,000.00 This is post-divorce shopping therapy and new condo setup stuff. I just turned 60 this November - have a wonderful job and live with my oldest daughter. Now, I can start to save. I will likely work to 70 (health permitting). Just wanted to see those words "debt-free" written down somewhere!

Agreed - just need to see the numbers grow in the savings account now.

thank you! Once I'm done, I think I'll be able to continue living frugally as I have been doing all year and keep the momentum going.
