Hmm. Apparently less is more. Really, really really more.

"... In Paradise Cove, whose pioneers included director Sam Peckinpah and Los Angeles Times publisher Otis Chandler, Vanessa Grigoriadis explores the surfboard-and-shirtless bohemian charms—not to mention those trailers, with their marble floors, Italian-granite countertops, and Sub-Zero appliances—which have sent the price of a tricked-out double-wide into the millions." Why didn't he defrost his fridge if he knew a photographer was coming...

one of the joys of living in a warm climate is the idea of a small home with a large outside area. Unfortunately up here in Canada this doesn't really fly.

well that's just the booze fridge, the real fridge was defrosted. Is there any food in there, no there isn't. It's the fridge from Magaritaville, searching for my lost shaker of salt. And an egg, does anyone want eggs, it's what we have ... but if you do you must include capers.

The idea of a small house with a large outside area only really works if you can afford the large outside area, of course (but the land is no cheaper than the building). The hippy life as we can clearly see is for millionaires. I want to be a hippy millionaire in my next life, it looks nice. The surfboard mirror is cool.
