Why am I not surprised?
Mexico has enough problems without this kid and his mother. I will say that if I'm ever in serious trouble that I would pay whatever it cost to hire their lawyer.

If they are successful in moving his case to adult court......he is going to spend a few months in jail and other inmates don't like rich spoiled brats. He will become somebody's personal property. His mother will get time too. One thing Texas has is a lot of prison cells.
I realize that our legal system necessarily allows some cases like this to slide through in order to guarantee the most equitable system is preserved for the most people. And I would never really wish for the day when a judge would through that out to call BS, but...
I understand the mother could get as much as ten years.
