View Full Version : When you actually thank your Karma for setting you straight.............
Just want to share that I am grateful for Karma. If I didnt make bad financial decisions I wouldnt have had stumbled upon simple living nor would started to learn about saving money and living simply. There are other things I dont have time to share but I hope you can look back at things now and smile or laugh or cry a little. But hopefully you have no regrets. Things may look hard or heartbreaking now , strangely in the far future you may just be grateful for the hardships and the priceless wisdom that came out it.I do know now that what we resist , persists. So I will try to do better or complete what was hard for me to finish-since there is Karma in that too.I do wonder if certain types of Karmic lessons could be forgiven if we simple have an Aha moment or enlightnement of understanding will that alter anything?Any similar experiences or thoughts?

I'm not sure I can relate in your terms or language. What I thought of though was this and to me it is saying the same thing only in simple terms. In my life this is my mantra.

2. Refer to Number 1.

I think my karmic event has to do with having divorced parents. I will always say that my mother did the absolutely correct thing and she did it courageously, but I suffered from unresolved issues for a long time.
So not sure if it's karma or my own psychological "crack" ("There is a crack in everything--that's how the light gets in" Anthem, Leonard Cohen) but I think I've subconsciously made it a lifelong personal mission to keep the family together, as whole and happy as possible.
