Jesus Christ, this takes the cake. I can't believe we are living in times like this, with crazy Christians running government (I can say this because I'm Catholic, although the Catholics are better behaved IMO)

Except in places like AZ, where I live, they try all the time. And then it gets appealed and inevitably the state loses in court. And so the taxpayers are on the hook, again, for financing these very expensive right-wing crusades.

Actually they can all they want. And leave it to the courts to shoot it down. I think if they don't create an injunction to stay the law until it goes through court, you will have a law (at least temporarily) that supersedes the feds.
