Scary Stalkers

In the last 2 weeks, I'm aware of having been followed at least 3 times. The first was as I was driving to work- from very near my house, about 25 miles. I called the highway patrol, and they caught up with the guy and peeled him off at the off-ramp I take. He was driving on old black and white cop car, no license plates.

The second time was just 2 days ago, a brand new shiny black Lexus sedan, paper plates, pulled along side of me on the freeway, and a man tried to take my picture with an iPhone. He was on the passenger side first, and I'm sure the glare of the rising sun on the window did not allow him to get a good photo. He backed off and came around me on the driver's side and tried again!! I saw him pull in beside me, and shielded me face and hit the accelerator, hard, and I was out of there!!

The third time was this afternoon. I was pretty sure there was a white Lexus SUV following me home from work. I made a bunch of turns and came in kind of in a round about way, but a minute or so after I pulled into my parking space, the car was on the street in front of me!! Driven by a woman this time. She tried to hang out to see me get out of the car but I waited her out. It's a narrow small street, another car came through and she had to move on. As soon as she was out of sight I got out and RAN into my apartment! Now I'm afraid to walk my dogs!!

Who the hell are these people, what do they want, and how do I get rid of them??!! Scary, now. I thought the cops catching up with the first guy would be the end of it, but no such luck. Any thoughts?

That is scary! Do you resemble anyone famous - or infamous? Got any lawsuits? The first thought would be insurance or workers comp fraud type...our neighbor was being tracked when he claimed disability due to work injury.

I would notify your building manager. Do they have good security? And call the police and make a report.

What was the outcome of the first incident? What info did the police get?

1) I'd take pictures of them taking pictures of me. Also pictures of the vehicles, including the license plates.
2) Contact the police. Tell them what's going on and ask what you should do.
3) Call the police every single time you think someone is tailing you. Ask them what to do.

Can I start with an obvious question. You say you were followed, so they were generally behind you. Do you have any bumper stickers on your car and if so what?
What do you drive? (an antique car will grab attention, so will some expensive cars like a Tesla)
