This is probably a dumb question but I'll ask anyway. Can you guys think of any use for plastic storage bin LIDS?

We have a bunch of them that have collected over the years - they're various sizes in the 14-20 gal size. I can't imagine anyone wanting them without the bins, so I don't think I can donate them or give them away. The only option left is to recycle them, but they are in perfectly good condition.

I would feel silly posting them on NextDoor unless someone has any ideas how they can be used.

I had a client who had a bunch. I put them on freecycle and a woman picked them up to use as seed trays. Depending on the design- flat works best- they also make good trays under potted plants, inside or outside. Offer them! Someone will have a good idea :)

If they're not too flimsy, you could use them as trays for carrying things or as a solid base on wire shelves. You could also drag them around the yard when weeding and toss them on the lids. You can put heavy things on them and easily slide them on carpeting.

When you offer them give ideas too. I use one under my pet food bowls.

Thanks for the ideas everyone! I actually ended up using most of them myself :).
