unintended pregnancies, especially teen pregnancies, have been very low in Colorado where Planned Parenthood has been very accessible. So frustrating to see them under attack when they provide so much medical care. I find that younger women are more likely to go there than a DR in many cases.

In the progressive paradise that is Mexico, abortion is illegal. The drugs they sell that induce medical abortions are ulcer drugs.
The article is interesting but I was confused about it conflating two concepts even though they are related and the headline is bad. The facts seem to be:
Medical abortins are on the rise in the US and the FDA has the labeled two drugs used in tandom for later-in-pregnancy use. This has resulted in more uses of these drugs for abortions.
The same drugs in Mexico are selling more often, and sometimes to Texas residents. Abortion is legal in Texas.
later-in-pregnancy use.
I wonder how much later they can be used... A trip to Mexico might take more than a day for some folks.

The drugs can be taken up to ten weeks in a pregnancy now, FDA approved.
The drugs can be obtained in the U.S.

Really? Are you jerking my chain here? I had no idea these opportunities were available. Ten weeks is pretty dang good!

read your own article, this is what I got from it.
While it is a mish mash of Info designed to trash Texas, it comes out saying that one can get a medical abortion up to ten weeks of pregnancy, but in Texas it must be supervised in a clinic.
I suppose one could run over to Mexico and grab one of the the two drugs and ask the guy on the street how to take it to cause abortion, there are no written instructions. and there is a missing drug (?)
it is a poorly written article.
Abortions are becoming nearly impossible to get in Texas, as in much of the South. I think there are abortion providers in only a couple of major cities, and Texas is a very big state. Women often have to drive hundreds of miles to get a safe, legal procedure.

Plus with nut jobs targeting abortion providers probably more docs are afraid to do them. The poor doc in Wichita was killed in his own church. People were frequently protesting when I lived there.
