My mother pulled it off, I am amazed. The Inn where it was held had a room for her right off the grounds of the party so she could easily rest when she needed to. Still, she did 10x better than I had anticipated. When you really want something badly enough, I guess. I was assigned to my son's table, I said, "may I join you?" and he said of course. met the ? GF who seems very nice, wants to be a nurse and asked me questions. It was a beautiful weekend.

I can't believe how exhausted I am, it must be the POTs because I am way more tired than I should be. So not a lot getting done but that's ok.

Freshstart's, I'm glad you were able to enjoy the wedding. That's more important than the pictures!

dd jut heard that her Fiancé's great aunt is coming to the wedding - 100 years old, 7 hour car trip, 95 degree heat and an outdoor reception. Dd was very concerned about the heat and the stress and auntie said "I'm 100 years old! I should miss my favorite nephew's wedding so I can spend an extra month alone with my cat?!"

Great attitude on the part of your aunt CL. FS: glad it went good. I doubt you look horrible in the pics.

And don't forget, you can always Photoshop Claire into the group shot...:~)
