I have mixed feelings about Lama. But this is an interesting and short article.

Reminds me of Peace Pilgrim who kept a toothbrush, a pen, stamps and notecards in her tunic. I think that was all.

I guess minimalists feel it's VERY important to have a nice smile!

I had a friend in his 20's who lived out of his backpack. He always had a clean white shirt (borrowed my facilities to wash and iron it once) he called it his "hitch hiking shirt". Because if someone sees you walking down the side of the road in a clean white shirt, they think your car broke down, and they stop.

he also carried a flute, a deck of cards with. Which he could do magic tricks to entertain kids, and a pack of cigarettes which he didn't smoke. (And a toothbrush.)
