I want to keep the momentum gained on my exercise challenge, as well as maintaining the habit of exercise as a daily part of my life. To that end, I'll do a monthly fitness thread so everyone who wants to can join in.

Now that I've done 30 days of shred I want to start incorporating some new workouts into the rotation. This coming week I'm adding in the JM No More Trouble Zones. This workout is longer - 40 mins vs 20 - but is lower in impact and intensity. I've done it before and really like it. I'm thinking a 50/50 split with shred for now and seeing how that goes.

Wow, that's impressive. I started my yearly summer time lake swimming in June. I've had three swims already and plan to go in the water Saturday and Monday. I swim for at least a 1/2 hour straight and go longer as I get fitter.

On Sunday morning, I have a work out doing chores at a horse rescue. Mucking stalls and sweeping, moving things and generally steady workout for about three hours.

I do a stretch/yoga/qi gong session about two or three times per week for 45 minutes.

This weekend, I hope to tend my neglected garden with pruning, weeding, moving plants and being outside Sunday afternoon and most of Monday too.
