Austin has said that if Texas were to secede, Austin would not. It would be it's own liberal island still part of the US surrounded by whatever Texas became after leaving the Union. Based on what I know of Texas I would not flee there in the hopes of a new citizenship/passport. Now Vermont on the other hand.....very intriguing. Rob
