Pineapples have been cheap and plentiful this year, but they are such a pain to prep. Enter the Ratcheting Pineapple Slicer!

This little gadget is great! DH said it took "a few seconds" to prepare the pineapple, and the result is one long, lovely spiral of pineapple rings. A bargain at $10.49 from Target!

There's the philosophy that you should never buy a kitchen gadget that has only one purpose. But there are obvious exceptions, and this looks like one--if you eat a lot of pineapple.

So cool, I don't eat pineapple but love the gadget,

And yes I used my salad spinner all the time :)

We do eat a fair bit of pineapple and I think now we will eat a lot more. Just like we started eating a lot more salad after we got the salad spinner.

I saw a newspaper article that mentioned this the other day. Use your salad spinner to create art!
