Movie or Television Actors That We have Lost This Year

Gene Wilder has died.

Another one that we lost was Patty Duke (one of my favorites.)

I know.. I was sad to hear of Gene Wilder dying, but I was also surprised that he was 83! Life does go so fast, and sometimes that's ever MORE apparent when you remember movie stars that "go missing" for a few years and then all of a sudden they're 83 and dead.

I was thinking about Silver Streak.. Jill Clayburgh was in that movie (and several others during those years in the 70s). Strangers used to come up to me and tell me how much I looked like her, so I always felt a bit of a star-struck "sisterhood" with her. She died several years ago, but my point is, all three of those stars--Jill Clayburgh, Richard Pryor and now Gene Wilder are gone.

Just saw an episode from 1974 that had Jill Clayburgh in it! There was also one with James Woods and the woman who was in Cagney and Lacey.

Teresa Saldana barely got a mention in the news a few weeks ago- I don't know if the injuries she experienced in the stalker stabbings had anything to do with her early death. I am hoping someone makes a movie about her. Golden Oldies barely get a mention in the news but if a young celeb overdoses, it is on the news for weeks!
