my glasses are in!

I'm so excited, I really hope the two surgeries paid off. No more large print books, I can drive more safely, no more weird computer settings. Had I known someone could fix how badly botched my bad eye was, I would've done this years ago. I went fro a -20 and a -15 to both being a -6. I can't wait to go get them!

my retina doc said I would never see anything but a blur out of the center of my bad eye after the detachment. I can see now out of the center, I never expected that.

well, my bad eye isn't all that great but it is better, I can't really see clearly out of the middle but that's ok because both eyes working together are good. My glasses lenses just went from $1800 to $500. Eventually that will make up for the surgery cost not covered by insurance. It used to make me sick to pay that $1800.

Darn, I can't read books or magazines after giving it a really long time of trying. I can read the laptop but book and magazine print is too small. I'm going to have to go back and hope they can fix it
