This week I and my colleagues are planning to consult an IT specialist regarding a software that can help improve our system all together mainly to have better audits irregardless of your locations. Personally, I feel that this bespoke application, ain't gonna be cheap. So, please let me hear your suggestions. TY

Why not research first so you would know what audit software would be good for your organization. Not all software are alike, you have to check on the features of each so you would get the best. Just to help you get started, I would like to name a few popular ones: Verse, Rivo, ACL and Audit Pro. I am sorry but I am not aware how much it costs.

For over 30 years, my husband's huge corporate employer designed their own software and spent millions. Then they went to semi custom because "of course" they were special. Spent more millions. Finally, they decided it was cheaper to use off the shelf slightly tweeked software and changed their own systems to work better.

And he was one of the internal IT specialists. Do not go with the first consultant you talk to. They all know how to get paid a lot of money and may or may not improve your systems.

@sweetana3 I agree with you. The reason why I am consulting this forum is because I somehow disagree with the decision of my other colleagues. For me, this is just some kind of money making. But will see, though!

@printslicker I have searched online and I found a lot of stuffs. The problem is I am not sure if they are legitimate except for Verse (http://www.versesolutions.com/audit-management-software/) which was used by our previous company. Anyway, TY for your comments and god bless.
