As you all know, I am taking three master's level social work classes to see if I like the field and maybe want to get an MSW.
This has been a large investment of time, effort, grit, and mental capacity (because I work full time).
I have also had to pay about $1,100 in extra taxes from my salary, along with book costs and so forth.
As a result my apartment has been rather messy. I have been eating convenience foods (mountains of bananas, peanut butter sandwiches, eggs and toast, carrot sticks -- things that require little or no cooking). My dog has been either spending too much time alone or he's been over at my sis's house. I usually have my significant other come over on Sat and Sun, but now she really only gets one or the other day.
But...
Now that I am starting to get into a rhythm with my classes and work and other obligations I am steadily but slowly refocusing on simplicity in my life. Maybe a better way to explain it is that I can step back and think about all this new activity in my life and figure out ways to make it more efficient and streamlined.
It was hectic for about the past month.
