I missed the beginning of the show (busy week) but got to watch some it while putting away groceries.

I rarely watch CBS and hadn't heard that the new season is on.

Apparently, it is raining a lot on the show and Jeff gave them a tarp.

You and my husband still watch this show, is there anyne else in America watching it? Haha. DH never misses a season.

Nothing will ever beat Richard Hatch winning Survivor 1. We rooted for him.

There have been a few worthy winners--Yul Kwon, John Cochran, Sandra Diaz-Twine (twice!), Rob Mariano, and probably others. It's definitely a crapshoot--some seasons have much more interesting casts than others. I haven't watched since they started making doomed chickens part of the deal, though.

I really enjoyed the History Channel's series "Alone"

I am a Rupert fan - but he was too nice to win!

Ill tell ya, if Boston Rob and Amber ever get divorced I will be sad. I am invested in them staying together.

it is stupid that I can remember their names.

Also, Rupert, I remember him, he was a card. The producers played him up be ause he was good theater.

And Yau-Man Chan. They just don't make players like that any more...

Oddly, I'd like to see Rob and Amber stick it out too. I think they're an example of opposites attracting.

We used to follow Survivor in our office and had a pool. I had Rupert one season and so wanted him to win. I did win one year and I think the guys name was Chris but I don't remember. I still follow it but agree that some seasons stand out due to great characters and others not so much. I wasn't drawn to anybody with this new season. Come to think about it, our office was much like survivor. You didn't stand a chance if the tribe had spoken.........

Seen less then 5 minutes of survivor and how long has it been on? (not surprising, seen two episodes of The Simpson's, and figure I will get into it, when they interrupt it with Tracy Ulman in the middle)

But your series, which I have also never seen, made me remember Hiroo Onoda, and I need to see if the library has a book on him. There is a lot that the Japanese did (as well as German's, and US) that was wrong, but I do remember it being news when he came out of the jungle when I was a child. 30 years of survival training, would be someone to be the mentor.

Then trend continues - get rid of the 52 year old.

So, we are not supposed to spell like we are texting all of the time - No!
