...many, many extra slats from vinyl mini-blinds? 28- 32 inches long, 1 inch wide.

The only ones I know is cut to make garden markers or replace collar stays.

i'a hoarder though, so if you let me hold one I could probably brin Storm you a whole bunch of ideas :laff:

bet you could turn them sideways and make hanging fish that wiggle in the wind too (new holes to restring, cut to shape)
