I was just going to post about how I'm going to Kondo my books this week because we have a book donation event on Saturday, and coincidentally, one of my favorite Paul McCartney songs, Junk, came up on the shuffle. Such a beautiful melody, and I love the minor key he uses to sing about old stuff.

Well, I Kondo'd 117 books today! And those were from the the books I thought I really liked!

Those 117 books will be added to the probably 200 books I have sitting in boxes in the garage that I had already purged, but never got around to bringing to the library. But DH and I will box everything up, bring two cars, and get rid of them on Friday.

My bookshelves look so much neater!

Good job, I am down to about 60 books total in my house and many of those are childhood books in a plastic tote box. I used to have hundreds.
