View Full Version : Covergirl Hires Male Model
So, now Covergirl is marketing its makeup to men.
Easy, breezy, beautiful. Coverboy!
If the money's right I'm available.
I wear makeup for men all the time.
Tiger Balm, Calamine Lotion, Gold Bond, Bag Balm.
I think this model is marketing mascara but also looks goth in the photo so maybe also eye shadow and liner. I rarely slap on makeup anymore - it is too pricey and I have allergies to the cheap stuff.

I saw him and he looks transgender....

There you go again, forcing cis-normative standards of beauty and appearance upon others.

I am not sure what this means? I meant to say it was a male..... looking like a female???? I am not sure that is the politically correct way to say it.
I saw a picture, I just thought he looked odd.
They probably need to change to cover person now. You know in some schools teachers can call students boys or girls anymore. Such as saying the boys can line up for lunch now because they have been so quiet or, the girls can stand on one side of the classroom for our spelling bee (not that students do spelling bees anymore or are taught spelling because it is NOT part of the authorized curriculum).

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 prohibits _discrimination based on sex_ in education programs and activities that receive federal funds.
So it has not been "legal" to delineate groups by gender for a LONG time now, 44 years to be exact.

Spelling isn't part of NCLB? Is that because it was not a strong suit of W or because his brother didn't have a testing company focused on spelling?

Back in the olden days, us girls would stand on one side of the classroom and the boys on the other side to have spelling bees.
1. You can't divide up by boys and girls (how long before unisex bathrooms and gym changing rooms??
2. They don't have spelling in the curriculum here, maybe in other schools but not here. Heck, the new young teachers can't spell either, they only know how to text.
