I have voted and it feels great. The whole process is made easy at our downtown courthouse. They even post several signs with the date so you have it at hand to fill out the envelope. There were as many people working the different stations as there were in line. Almost everyone had a smile and was enjoying themselves, even the security guards. Took about 10 minutes max. Everyone said there has been a steady stream of voters since early voting started.

Oregon and Washington have vote by mail systems. Some miss the community experience, but as i get older and creakier, I really appreciate the ease and convenience.
Here in AZ we've gotten our early ballots so we can also vote by mail. Those early ballots are only sent to voters who sign up for being on that list; otherwise, you have to vote in person.
One of our more interesting local races is to see if we can finally get rid of the awful "Sheriff Joe." I think polling indicates he's finally going to be kicked out.

The news this morning said there was a 43% increase in early voting here in Indianapolis. This is early vote in person available to anyone who can make it downtown.
Boston has early voting set up, but I may wait. I'm kind of used to walking to the local school, voting, and then buying a couple of things at the bake sale they always have to munch on the walk home :-)

Love the idea of a bake sale. Someone thinking out of the box.
