Hi! My brother asked for my help to look for a reliable vendor of continuous monitoring and management software. He said they need to lessen their office expenses and properly manage their energy consumption. Are there users here who could recommend what they have? Share it please! :) Thanks!

I wonder if your brother has tried to do the common ways of cutting down their operational expense already? If not, I'm not so sure if he is aware of a solution that can monitor or identify machine, energy or system's error before they become a serious problem. A reliable company can assists you for that. Try searching about ecova. That could be an answer to your inquiry.

I asked the same things - like changing to energy saving light bulbs - or switching off the PCs at night and the weekend - I am surprised that this really matters. I used to just keep the computers in my previous work on at the end of the day, but when we started shutting down at night and weekends, it made a lot of difference. Also, I suggested that they get those lights that switch on with motion sensors - I've always wanted those :)

Anyway, I believe that they are getting an external company to manage it for them - Ecova - I believe is what it is called for continuous monitoring (http://www.ecova.com/solution/continuous-monitoring-management/) of their energy usage. I have not checked them out - but I've got every intention to do so - if it will help with cut down on energy use and saving the environment, I am all for it.
