And surgically remove his tweeting digits.

He is giving giving advice that Nigel Farage would make a great Ambassador in Washington.

The Foreign Secretary said there is no vacancy!

I am wondering how long it will take for him not to make all these statements without consulting the advisers?

As long as it takes his staff to get custody of his phone.

I was going to say more, but I think I will let it go with, he's now giving advice to other governments?????!!!!!?????

Thanks, IL. I suspect you might be equal to that task!

We have a saying in Scotland, when someone... Child or adult ... throws a tanty. 'he needs a skelp on the back of his legs'!

At least Obama waited until he was the President.

Much rather have him post stupid stuff, before he is sworn in, when he is still a private citizen, and has the free speech constitution protection, then after, where words and actions then will have actual consequences from other governments.
I expect the Secret Service will do what they did with other presidents, and remove their cellular devices, only allowing secured ones (which may or may not block him from these sites, depending on the software needed).

The Secret Service works for the President. They are in no position to "allow". They may "convince", but that's about it.

It is my understanding that there are existing rules, dealing with devices that can be used to communicate with the president. There are technical reasons as well that deal with "allow" (cell phone jammers for traveling purposes for bomb detonation, etc).

I understand the existence of rules. I also understand that the Secret Service is in no position to enforce them if the President disagrees. Something about the Constitution and chain-of-command...

The Secret Service is a Federal law enforcement agency, under the Department of Homeland Security.

The Department of Homeland Security is headed up by the Secretary of Homeland Security.

The Secretary of Homeland Security is a cabinet position. The Secretary reports to, and serves at the pleasure of, the President of The United States.

The President of the United States is the head of the Executive Branch of our government.

And come Jan 20th, the President will be Donald Trump. Somehow.

If Trump wishes to continue to Tweet, the Secret Service is in no position to do anything other than ask him politely to use secure devices to do so.
