new computer lost Firefox

I just set up the new computer, haven't done saved files yet, but all my favorites on Firefox are lost. Right now I am just using Explorer. Any ideas for getting favorites back? I guess I could re hook up the old computer and do something there to send them off to space. I will live, but am frustrated. I'm a little nervous about the files as the DVD is weird.

You can create a Firefox account from the old computer. It will then upload your favorites and any other customization to firefox's servers. Then you log in to your Firefox account from the new computer and it transfers it all to the new one.

I dont remember all the details but you can google for instructions.

Thanks, I am now struggling to transfer the Microsoft works documents and spreadsheets not working well at all. I downloaded Libre and it will take the documents, but not the spreadsheets. I'm pretty frustrated mainly because there was NOTHING wrong with my other computer except it was Vista...
