Today, Emma Maranson is celebrating her 117th birthday in Italy.

Wonder what the story of her life was all about. Hmmm. Ok, I googled her name and found an athlete mentioned but nothing about a 117 year old Italian woman.
Where was she born, how was she impacted by the wars, did she have children, who is taking care of her now...

She divorced an abusive man after her child died and has been single ever since. She eats very little, mostly eggs.

Great story! I thought I was the only one who ate raw eggs. It's interesting to me that she doesn't eat any fruits or vegetables. Eating very little makes it easier on your systems.

She lives on only eggs and cookies, and she says she eats very little because she has no teeth. Poor thing, can't someone get her some dentures so she could enjoy her long life a little more!
She also says she's lived so long because she is single:)
