Sell Concert Ticket back to Ticketmaster

I bought a ticket to a concert in March through Ticketmaster. I am having second thoughts about going and got an e-mail from Ticketmaster telling me I can sell the ticket. I checked it out and sure enough, if I press the right buttons, the ticket goes on sale.

It's $95 back to me. I've seen this group several times and it's getting old. Has anyone had experience with this sort of sell back? There's no guarantee of a sale but it's a customer friendly option never offered to me before.

That sounds much safer than trying to sell it on your own through Craigslist. Nice to hear it's an option on Ticketmaster. Do they take a service fee for re-listing your ticket?

It doesn't say up front about a fee for the service. Although, I thought there might be, something like 5% of sale. I'll double check on that.

It's probably better for the buyer as Ticketmaster wants to keep their customers happy and saying positive things about the site. If you read reviews of StubHub or other sellers of tickets, they are terrible. Not Ticketmaster, not so far.
