I was walking down memory lane (now wouldn't that be a fun name for a tv network?) when I was thinking about the TGIF shows that were on when the kids were young.

Do you remember these?

Sister Sister - starred the twin Mowery sisters

Step by Step - Suzanne Summers - a modern Brady Bunch show

Just the 10 of Us - about a family with 8 kids - only lasted 2 seasons but I loved it! - a spin off of Growing Pains

Perfect Strangers - show about cousins that was a spin off of Mork and Mindy

Hanging with Mr. Cooper - about a high school coach/teacher

Family Matters - was supposed to be about a family but became the Steve Urkel show in many ways (that character was only supposed to be on one episode)

I haven't seen any of these in reruns lately - not sure why - but we probably will eventually!

The ONLY one I remember of those was Perfect Strangers. (saw less then a season) No idea how long it was on, but it was on in between a couple jobs I had. How was it a spin off of Mork and Mindy?
None of the others have I seen. Once I started working, if I was to see a show, it typically had to be on late at night, and by then it was old (things like Forever Knight). This thread brings back memories though, because when I started working, Miami Vice was on and after I started, they had who knows how many seasons, until there was a big car change. I always enjoyed the music in that show.
I take it these were on Friday's (explains why I never would have seen them), or was TGIF some network?

TGIF was thank goodness it's Friday.

Perfect Strangers - about cousins - and I think one was a friend of Mork (Robin Williams).

All family funny shows that kids could watch while eating a bowl of popcorn.

There aren't a lot of sitcoms nowadays, and the show are now more for adults than families.

I was talking to a guy in his 20s though and he loves watching the Golden Girls when he gets home from work in the evening!

Oh and I just remembered Laverne and Shirley - think it was a different network though - but I loved that one - it was a spin off from Happy Days!

Other favorites of the kids -

Sabrina the Teenage Witch
Mr. Belvedere
Benson
Webster
8 Simple Rules
Different Strokes

I am rained in tonight and wish there were some funny sitcoms to watch!

So was Mork and Mindy. Mork started on Happy Days. I did a search and Perfect Strangers was NOT a spin off, but Family Matters was a spin off from it.
