She is a bit of a gay icon but this is not why I like her - something about her just clicks for me and I've always thought she was a cool person. I've read in interviews that in real life she is actually quiet and a bit introspective and somehow this comes across for me in her manner and in how she carries herself. She's always been up there with Mary Tyler Moore (such a loss, her recent passing) for me. Rob

how do you view Cher's attitude toward Chazz' gender change? She wasnt exacrly supportive, although that probably has swould nce changed.

I've always thought she seemed more genuine than most people in show business. Same with Dolly Parton.
