View Full Version : Music ideas for diving video/iMovie how to

I want to create a slideshow video, set to music, of diving pics and bits of video. I need suggestions on water/nautical themed songs, or ones that talk about following your passion. I'm a child of the 80s, if that helps any.

The first ones that come to mind is Irene Cara's "What a Feeling" from the 80s movie Fame ("take your passion and make it happen") or Christopher Cross' "Sailing."

Also, does anyone have an easy to follow how to on how to do the video/music on iMovie?

How about "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald?"

The Fitz song would be good for just shipwreck pics, but to me, it's too solemn for a fun video with lots of pics of me, not just wrecks.

That really sounds like fun!

I had to Google "Finding Nemo" songs ( nothing personal) which lead me to Heart - Barracuda. Maybe you can find some pics for that?

How about Van Helen's Jump? It's a catchy, fast moving song. Especially good for pics of you " big footing" off a dock or boat.

Would you use the "Jaws" theme?

I better stop, not sure of your sense of humor. Again, nothing personal is meant.

This video was just the thing for escapism on a snowy morning. I agree with iris lilies... the wrecks are interesting. (I am not talking about the people. <wink>)

From the sound track, a thought for the day: It is better when it is wetter.
