The reality is sinking in as twins were delivered two days ago. Not something I thought would ever happen...

Tell us more if you are willing to do so. I know privacy is a big issue for me so I am careful when I ask for more sharing.

Just a fun thought. What do you want the grand babies to call you? Gramma, Nana. Nonna, Momma or ? I have heard all of these in my circles. I chose Grady, short for a grand 'ole lady' which was a take off of my DH's name for me the day we married at age 21. Wives were called the ole lady in his family and he now had his own wife.:D

I am a great believer in being a grand-parent ( at last count I had 5 grand-kids...). When each one reached age 1-year-old, I started a 529 College Savings Plan for her or him. And I tell the parents, 'Tis better to save for post-secondary education than to borrow for it.
