Welcome from Massachusetts! I enjoyed your post on the extremely frugal foods, and that is great to hear of roadkill not going to waste. We were regifted some venison once from someone who was squeamish and had no idea what to do with it. DH braised it in hard cider and oatmeal stout and it was wonderful.
