Sometimes I have fleeting questions about her influence, primarily because of the estrangement of my daughter and the thousands of others like her who have no problem throwing away relationships because they do not "spark joy."

In my DD's case, she rejects anything she perceives is "toxic" even related to memories where she did not get her way.
