We will see how this works out! I went up Saturday morning to install the curtains I have and re-measured the windows, They were not as long as I thought so i just sewed and hemmed up what I have. I got some wooden dowels and some hardware. In any case I am going up after work tomorrow and we are going to put them up the best we can. They caretakers said there will be dinner!

I think I have lost track of how many hours I put in, however here is what I have sewn,

* 3 small bathroom sheers, one needed hardware
* 8 panels for 2 windows, and brought hardware
* the 'hobbit hole' quilted panels with hardware
* one long window with hardware
* 8 panels for 4 windows, and I hope they work out, but they are going up,

Your output is amazing.

Would it be too much to ask for a picture of a hobbit hole quilted panel? I know some people have built "hobbit holes" and called it simple living.

Thank you all, I think this is the upside of being me (hypomania can be productive when managed!)

Here is a detailed account of it all. The hardware I used on the rustic windows was for cafe curtains but with wooden dowels instead. This first one was in the bathroom where we just wanted something sheer.

And this is what I did on the 4 rooms I did today

Lot of sewing! The 'hobbit hole' is more of a small room than a window?

Made me think of Narnia and children loving a secret place to enjoy. Love the name 'hobbit hole'.
