I love “fuss factor”, it works so well! Also “purgatory drawer,” that’s great too!

I have two of my own I offer if they fit: space budget and floating clutter.

A space budget is deciding that all the socks have to fit in that drawer and culling the collection until it does. Floating clutter is stuff which either never gets put away or has no home, usually an easy cull.

I know! that was the best. I think that was Jeppy or one of the Yankees from New England. They have a droll sense of humor up that way.

That was Jeppy! They all have their place and I've recently adopted the purgatory drawer.
Sometimes I obsesserize, but I try not to. :)
