he may be right. Apparently they can't find any ordinary, off the street, republican women willing to sit down for a group discussion about him so they have used a group of party activists three times now, presenting them as just random republican voters, to present the fiction that republican women are generally ok with the various awful things he does.

They need to contact some of my Ohio relatives then.

You and CNN need to get out more. The strongest Trump supporters I know are women.

This is what WaPo considers an actual news story? That a group of Trump supporters give interviews that —support Trump? Color me unperturbed by this “news.”

Iris, you're probably right. If the president does something daily it's probably not a big deal if others do it too. CNN lying about who these women are is probably a non-issue and is certainly a minor lie to the many whoppers he tells.

CNN is terrible.

Always warmongering, very censorious of what news gets through (something can be covered a lot of places and I mean mainstream media, and unless it helps with the war or other propaganda it won't get on CNN - they black out vast quantities of news). The next debates, yes not a good sign.

It gets complicated. Look for instance, at the recent Erica Thomas checkout line dispute. The tearful news conference, the conflicting witness statements and videos, the various victim cards played and trumped. Every media outlet seems to choose which facts to include or exclude depending on their narrative commitments. Even the “fact checking” sites.

It’s fascinating.

It’s fascinating.

It's fascinating how facts and reason no longer play any part in our politics. All the sides are so busy with warped narratives and manufactured outrage that there is no room for anything else.

It truly is ridiculous about CNN. There is so much news going on in the world that this 24-hour news outlet could pay a little lip service to, but it's a one-trick pony now. And the bad thing I believe it will all backfire, play into Trump's narrative about the Establishment conducting a witch hunt on our poor, victimized Commander-in-Chief and it will get him re-elected. I can't stand the man but don't watch CNN much anymore because I'm sick of the Trump-bashing news loop.

And I do believe that Trump's base has a lot of women in it, unbelievably.

Al-Jazeera, during its brief run, was a breath of fresh air. It got out of the endless loop of the same old stuff and covered new ground--and international news--regularly. Too smart for Americans, apparently.
