Pay-It-Forward Restaurants

I would like to start a thread for the names and addresses of restaurants which have responded to the COVID-19-imposed closure by preparing meals "to feed as many" as they can.

Their dining rooms are empty by order of civil authority, but these restaurants are seeking to maintain a payroll, pay the rent, and survive(!) until the pandemic is behind us. Generally they identify a local population that would benefit from delivered meals free of charge.

There could be hundreds of establishments in New York, Nevada, California, the state Washington, etc., that adopted this stratagem to survive. I invite listing from all across America... even Vermont! They request donations.

Donors can contribute a multiple of $10 either by telephone or on the website. The "Pay It Forward" meals are intended for first responders, health care workers, heads of households who have lost their job, truck drivers, and seniors. A donor may indicate which of these intended groups that they would like to buy meals for.
Someone in one these categories would call in to request a meal ($10 value) while quantities last, for either curbside pickup or delivery.

According to a WROC news item, donations come from far and wide... and even from a couple of competing restaurants.

Owner Doug Grym uses Facebook to solicit orders from donors who "know a family or person in need". The donor telephones the restaurant with an order, and receives a 20% discount. The restaurant delivers the meal to the intended recipient.

As I understand it, a donor is given a choice of the 20% discount, or paying the full menu price, with 25% donated by the restaurant for gift certificates to be given to needy families by Friend Inc, a local non-profit food pantry.
