Wasn't sure where to post this, but just wanted to put out into the universe how much I appreciate the work Dr. Fauci is doing. What a tough spot he's in, working against so much disinformation and outright ignorance. Having to navigate the political minefields while doing his best to get the correct information out to the country. And being publicly humiliated for his efforts.

And yet he continues to work his butt off and forges on with the work that needs to be done.

Honestly--you are so right, Geila!

Humiliation is one thing, but what about death threats?? Trump knows that if he fires him there will be a public outcry, so the fact that Fauci is a truth-teller probably keeps Trump up at night, but it also ties Trump's hands. Fauci has been such a rational, credible source of information, or at least he is perceived to be. We need people like him during these times of uncertainty.

He is a remarkable scientist and we're so lucky to have him. I love hearing someone speak who could care less if they get fired. I can tell that his passion is public health.
