Went to Mexico a few months ago and had crowns put on front teeth ($200 each) and all cavities filled. Then yesterday, when I am back in the states, my left rear molar broke off. I have the piece. Thankfully, it does not hurt. I am hoping they can just use filling material and do a crown (probably $1200+). Reeks. I really hate the idea of going to the dentist during these trying times....

I had a temporary crown installed two months ago while awaiting the permanent crown's production and delivery. The temp was only supposed to be in for a week or so but then dentistry became a non-essential service. Today they're allowed to operate again and I get my new crown installed on Wednesday. The temporary one looks ok but it's rough on the backside so I'm really looking forward to getting rid of it.

My DH had a crown on a front incisor fall off a few weeks ago. He is not going to the dentist to fix it for a while, but he is SO embarrassed to be walking around with a missing front tooth, especially now that his hair it too long and his beard is getting scraggly. Just a few years ago he was known for his bow ties and double-breasted Ralph Lauren blazers. How times have have forced some interesting changes!
