I only know him from the movie, Brian's Song, but that is enough for me to like him. Condolences to his friends and family.

Ditto. I read his autobiography ("I Am Third") and the book version of the movie (which, I believe, predated the movie, though I'm being too lazy to look it up). Nice guy.

I read his autobiography, too. Maybe there were fewer books available in those days, or maybe that was during my football fan days. I'm sure he was a lovely person.
