I just escorted my 12, almost 13 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi to the Rainbow Bridge last Wednesday.
she was diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy a year ago August. Its similar to ALS in humans.
she went very peacefully and I was ok that I tried all that I could to make her last days comfortable. Its sad, but a relief all at the same time She is the one in my avatar with the Starbucks puppachino


I have a 17 - 1/2 year old Corgi who is a medical miracle and is a tri pod
And my youngest is 11 and has inoperable bladder cancer. You would never know by looking at her that she has issues.

So sorry, boss mare. She looks like she was a really beautiful pup. I'm SO sorry. I'm convinced there's nothing worse than losing a furry friend. If my tears lost for my dogs were rainfall, I'd have to say I've cried monsoons. Sincere sympathies.

So sorry boss mare. Dogs and cats are just big balls of love (And pee...) covered in fur. Losing them is so hard.

On a happy note I helped a young husky and it’s old poodle sibling in pj’s get home. They wouldn’t let others catch them but were trying to get in my backyard. They were super sweet.

I have a picture that I took to put on Nextdoor which is how they got home but a neighbor girl was holding the poodle so I won’t post it here.
