All over the news is great jubilation about the progress on vaccines with projections that in December the most vulnerable people can start receiving them. Biden will not be inaugurated until the last third of January, yet his focus is making people wear masks although at that point restrictions should be eased not ramped up.

As with so many other issues Biden cannot move from the past to the future.

and here I thought Biden might actually be a pessimist, which might be an interesting trait in a leader, at least it doesn't tend to lead to ignoring threats (it may catastrophize them sometimes, but ignoring is just as dangerous, too many optimists in the kitchen and everything goes to heck).

But instead it's just the usual nonsense.
