View Full Version : Honorable past presidents
Sadly the most recent former president is a turd. But going back before them is a different story. Cant wait until I get my jabs. I’m so tired of worrying about making SO sick every time I go out in public.

Make that our soon to be most recent former president.
Even those formers I wasn't fond of look uniformly gracious and presidential in contrast to barbarian Trump. He really soiled the brand.
agreed; all these men are doing the right thing. As far as honorable and good, I respect the heck out of Jimmy Carter for the way he has lived his life.
One thing that really bothers me is that Trump's picture will be on that big picture of all the past presidents. Maybe they can have a big X over it, or put Alec Baldwin's pic there instead?

This made me laugh this morning!
I can just imagine the former presidents club, you know, those occasions where they all have to get together. I can just imagine them saying “do we reaaaaaaaaallly have to invite him? Is there some way around it?”
All the living formers seem to get along famously. I doubt Trump will grace them with his presence; it's not like he's done anything that night be considered traditional or presidential during his reign.

Trump has done many things I approve of. That doesnt mean I like him.

I agree, there's actually been a fair amount of good governance during his term that his haters have failed to notice and media has refused to acknowledge. Hate blinds people to things the indifferent see. I'm glad this administration is over so that the haters can take a break.

Please give examples. I truly have not seen any good. I have looked. it is quite depressing to constantly see the bad. Many of the things trump has bragged about doing were actually done or started by those before him but he took credit.
A good thing: I’m still surprised by how quickly the first relief checks were sent out. That's a big undertaking,
Another good thing: stopping evictions through end of Dec.

I hope that both of you will share what these great things are.

The Senate and Congress worked together to get the relief checks. All trump did was ok it and put his stupid, unnecessary name on the check. Now he is talking about not okaying anything for states that did not vote for him for the next round of checks. How is that good?
He gets blamed for all bad things that government did. It’s only fair to give him a little credit for good ones.

Give credit where credit is due. Congress and the Senate get the kudos. They worked to make it happen. trump just tried to take the credit even when he did nothing. That was the whole reason he wanted his name on the check..... so people thought it was from him.

It works that way in every administration.
