I’m trying to diagnose this: I cannot pick up mail at one of my Gmail accounts. I have three Gmail addresses I am responsible for. One is a personal account, the other two our neighborhood responsibilities. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to pick up mail from this account below. But Gmail system does recognizes it. Maybe I haven’t found my way to the correct screen, but I am able to pick up email in the other two accounts. I don’t understand how they’re all tied into my real personal account but they are or at least some of them are in someway. But I don’t need to understand that.

Thanks herbgeek.
Here is the screen display that tells me Gmail recognizes my fauxpas email address. But I can’t find my way in to pick up the email messages.

Either on the "k" or the three vertical dots next to it (upper right hand corner), does clicking on either of those give you the option of going to gmail?
When I use my email to open up just the regular Google Account, I usually have to click on Google Apps to show the Gmail app icon to get into my actual emails.
I have a personal domain I use for my primary email and allow Google to host it for me. I also have several throwaway Gmail accounts for use when appropriate. I have the throwaway accounts redirect incoming mail to my primary email. It sounds like you need to do the same.
I think for you to get to the email account in question, you just need to sign into Gmail at https://mail.google.com using the appropriate username fauxpas1776@gmail.com and it's associated password, then I would suggest you go into settings and find the 'Forwarding' option and have all incoming mail sent to your primary address.

I have Not sat down to work on this yet. But, I did want everyone to know I appreciate your help. I will let you know how it turns out.
During chats with my professional peer group, many shared they are having trouble communicating with their Gmail clients, emails bouncing. I am. It might not just be you, Iris.

Yesterday a number of Google products had service outages. Heard about it on the news.
1Password just sent an email saying they also can’t get gmail addresses to receive their emails.
I've not ever had any problems with gmail through the browser based access, but have, on occasion had problems with them using a separate email client app (Mozilla Thunderbird). Apparently google gets suspicious if I have the client attempt to retrieve my email more than once every 15 minutes and will look up the account until I log on by browser and verify my reality with a text confirmation code sent to my phone.
But as others have mentioned, apparently google's having some issues currently so you may be part of that.
