Chloris Leachman just passed at the age of 94. I remember her in The Last Picture Show. She deserved the Oscar she win for her performance in that movie IMHO. Rob
Ms. Leachman of Des Moines, Iowa.
A small world factoid is that Cloris’s niece and I, back in the day in Des Moines, shared a boyfriend off and on. I do not remember the niece’s name other than Leachman. By then, her aunt was famous and was appearing on the Mary Tyler Moore show.
She was incredible in The Last Picture Show. I love that she reprised the role in Texasville, which was underrated.

It's a long list including Kookie from 77 Sunset Strip, Sean Connery, and Kirk Douglas.
They will all be missed and fondly remembered.
I raise a cup of Ovaltine to toast her today!
